Camden County is launching a $161 million infrastructure initiative aimed at revitalizing roads, bridges, and stormwater systems across its 228 square miles.
This comprehensive plan targets aging infrastructure to boost safety and promote economic development countywide.
Commissioner Al Dyer highlighted the county’s commitment to maintaining over 1,200 lane miles, with major enhancements set for drivers, pedestrians, and business owners.
In 2025, over $81 million will fund projects like the Haddon Avenue reconstruction in Camden City, Kings Highway overhaul through Haddon Heights and Mt. Ephraim, and Cross Keys Road widening in Pine Hill and Berlin.
Further investments in 2026 will support key upgrades, including Mount Ephraim Avenue and Newton Avenue reconstructions in Camden, and stormwater management through the Camden SMART Initiative.
